This is a creative word game that will help your older child with spelling skills. Players alternate turns, selecting letter cubes that both players must use to spell out words by dropping them into their crossword trays. Players create as many as one to five letter words as possible while scoring bonus points by spelling words within words. Example: the five-letter word "steam" includes "team" and "tea" and "am." If you have trouble completing a word on the spot, drop a letter cube in any of the open spaces and plan for your next move. Once the letter cube is dropped, it does not move until the game is over. There are several "blank" cubes included to use as "wild cards" in plotting your short words. Each game comes with two slotted crossword trays, a lift-up screen to avoid peeking and 25 letter cubes from A-Z plus blanks and directions on how to play.
