1950s table top baseball game, pinball type but all mechanical
I recall having a baseball game when I was around 8 to 10 (1950-1952). It was wooden sides, probably wooden or composition bottom, and a glass top. It was rectangular, as much as my memory serves perhaps 10-12 inches width and perhaps 18 - 20 inches long. It had fold out legs so that the top end sat up perhaps 3 inches off the table. It was strictly mechanical. A pull rod with a spring that launched small ball bearings. The board lay out was a variety of curved pieces of metal designating fly outs, ground outs, single, double, triple, etc. At the center bottom was the home run slot which as I recall was a narrow slot of what looked like inverted nails channeling the ball into the HR space. No fancy ball return. When you had finished "hitting" all the balls, you just tilted the board up and to the right and then down so the balls would enter the return slot. Scorekeeping was strictly on paper or in your head. No bells, whistles, lights, etc. Trying to see if one might exist somewhere as I know my grandso would love it.

When I was growing up in the 80s, I remember I had a toy that looked like a small kid (I was a small kid too), and he had like a scoop arm that would rotate, pickup a ball, and lob it to you to hit. I thought it was the best toy ever and would like to find one. I want to say that he toy kid was wearing a red shirt maybe, its hard to remember. Do you have any idea, I would be so grateful. Thanks.

1980s Doll inside Plastic Ice Cream
Trying to find out the name of a set of dolls from the early-mid 1980s. They came in a plastic ice cream (the top was a swirl and the bottom was a squat cone with flat base). You opened the top and you could get the doll out. The cone was also on a lanyard/necklace that you could wear around your neck. They aren't Shortcake, Cupcake or Little Kiddle dolls. If anyone can help that would be very much appreciated as there are a number of us in New Zealand trying to remember what they were called. Many thanks!

1980's magnetic penguin toy Christmas Toy maybe?
Growing up every year at Christmas time in the 1980's my grandparents would get out these toys, one of which had pengiuns that when you turned it on they would move around being picked up by magnets and brought to the top of the toy where they would be dropped down, slide down the toy to the bottom to be picked up again over and over. They had several but the penguin one is the one I most remember. What are they called and where can I find one? Thank You!

2 player 1960's strategic combat board game with magnetic pieces
Have searched on line for two hours now. It was a vertical magnetic game board with Army tanks, airplanes and ships playing pieces that had round magnets on each of them. That's what would enable you to knock/fall down (repel on opposite side of the board) your opponents playing pieces (one by one)to get to the coveted command post "ground zero fort" to win. You had to spin once each turn, up to 4, being the highest spin one could take.

80s blankets
Growing up my sisters and I each received a blanket from our grandfather who passed away last year. The blankets have a soft trim, like satin and feature prints. The blankets are two tones and on each side the colors are reversed. One was dark blue and yellow featuring a duck. One was brown and beige featuring teddy bears and the third a dark orange and beige with ducks and frogs. I know this is vague but any clue to where I can get these?

Balloon Flying Toy
In the late '60s or maybe early '70s, I had a flying toy that had a hand control on one end and a big fan on the other end. On the end with the hand control to the right I beleive there was also a throttle that controlled the speed of the circular fan. The hand control, controlled the direction of the fan. What it was all set up for was to fly a balloon on a cushion of air. The balloon was (pretty much a regular balloon) equiped with a little plastic landing base so that the craft could stand up. When you softly began the fan and aimed it at the balloon, you could actually make it lift off and you could fly it around the room, and even land it with some practice. My question Dr. Toy, is what was the name of this toy? I received it one Christmas and have never forgotten about it, some 40 or so years ago now. Thank you.

This isn't the large riding toy usually associated with Louis Marx, but rather a hand toy up to a football long.

Battery operated truck
Good morning, I have been trying since 2003 to find this truck for my little grandson. I bought it for him around 2003,,he was 2 years old. The truck was made of plastic, I believe yellow. It had a sccoop in the front and a little guy was sitting in the cab and he would say; "I'll scoop it up" and he said some other things, that I can't remember. My grandson loved it when he said, I'll scoop it up! We don't know what happened to that truck! Unfortunately I can't remember the make :-( I sure hope you can help me? Thanx ever so much, Na'ima.

Bean Bag Plush Hippo Toy...
My Boyfriend has this plush Hippo. He has had it as long as he can remember and I was hoping to get him another one like it. It is a simple Hippo, grey, little pink tongue, pink on the insides of the ears, big black beaded eyes and little black nostrils. He has a cute flat little tail. He may have been a fuzzy Hippo. There are tags on it that say POSSUM TROT as I guess the logo. Then I believe it is mcfee, Kentucky U.S.A. All new materials. Shredded Foam and or polyester fibers, pebbles and styrofoam beads. Reg # Ohio 5883 (KY)PS # 239 MISC # 211. It is also copyrighted at Gillian Bradshaw-Smith 1975. Do you know where I can find this Hippo, where it came from, does he have a name? I want to buy another just like him. I have a picture but I am not sure how to send it to you. Please help. Thank You, Tracy

Cabbage Patch Kids walk-in playhouse
I purchased a Cabbage Patch Kids walk-in playhouse in the early 1980's. It is a heavy molded plastic with a brown base and a cream roof. There is a red half-door and red shutters that open and close on each side. There is a "Members Only" sticker on the front. Inside there is a clock, telephone, and a pull-up table with 2 yellow chairs. The playhouse is in pristine condition, since it has always been in our basement. Does this have any value? My husband wants me to get rid of it, but I think it is rare, especially in the condition that it is in. If I decide to sell it, I need to know its value.

My game is still in its original box, contains all of its letters and black space tile (it is like a cross word puzzle game), which are in excellent condition except for a tiny chip of missing paint on the red back of one tile. It only has one playing board (there was to be one for each player). The board could be reproduced by copying though. The original directions are included. There is a point value assigned to each of the spaces on the board. Was this game an ancestor to today's scramble. Cannot find the answer through researching it.

Handheld "top" type device
We found a "top" type handheld toy, made of metal double bar track, with red plastic handle. There is a wheel with two magnetic tips that run on the rails, when you tip it down it runs down the rails, around up and under, then repeats as you tip it up & down repeatedly. I would guess the idea of the toy is to keep the wheel moving as long as possible without derailing from the bars. Do you know what this toy was called or who made them?

Hedstrom Swingset
My in-laws bought my son a Hedstrom swingset over 4 years ago, we were unable to put the swing set up until we bought a house. The company has gone out of business and I was wanting to know if anyone had any ideas about getting replacement pieces.

ICE CREAM TRUCK TOY
We purchased this toy for my nephew in the mid nineties to make his mom crazy. It is a white ice cream truck that takes batteries and has a very loud song with bells and the ice cream mans yells out, "Ice Cream, Ice Cream". I have searched ebay and googled it and cannot find one. The old one has disappeared and although my nephew is now 16, we would like to purchase another for him as a keepsake. Any help you could give would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Interchangeable Animal Toy (1980's)
This would have been anywhere from 1983-1986. I remember a large box with "parts" to create various animals, on the same line as the Tupperware "Zoo It Yourself" toys or Cootie or Mr. Potato Head. There was a blue plastic body. And I recall a yellow tail and whatnot. I just remember being fascinated with this toy and its many parts and huge, flat box. I think it might have come from an educational toy shop or a catalog.

jukebox replicas
Does anybody remember the minature wurlitzer jukebox replicas that played little tiny records(they would be by elvis mostly) I am not sure it was a toy but they were about 8 or 9 inches high and about 6 or7 inches wide and they took batteries and lit up just like a real wurlitzer jukebox. There were usually 3 or 4 records that came with it but you could send off to buy more. they were usually sold at JCPenney or Sears is were I use to see them. It was back around late 1970's or early 80's the last time I saw one. You can find the ones that are radios or cd players.but that isn't it. Anybody remember or am I going crazy. Thanks

late 70' or early 80's stuffed, pink rabbit
Hi, I have been looking for years for a replacement for a stuffed bunny that belonged to my son and was tragically lost. The rabbit was about 18"-20" tall, pink plush with a cloth, calico, patchwork-pattern body and ears. He had red/pink plastic eyes. He was probably purchased at a Kmart or the now defunct, Fisher's Big Wheel, here in northeast Ohio. I have no idea who the manufacturer was, although there is a very small Gund bunny on ebay for 24.99 whose face looks very, very similar to our long lost bunny. I'm pretty sure this was not a collectible or high quality item. I can send you a photo of my son's rabbit if you like. I'd need your email address. Is there some way to search the individual companies for images of past plush products so that I could at least identify the manufacurer? Thanks for any help, Amy

Spinning "Fruit Loops" Toy
In 1996 or 1997, there was a toy at Rehoboth (DE) Sport & Kite that I've never seen anywhere else & would love to find. It's a simple metal ring (about 10-12" around) with about 6 small discs on it (almost like beads). The small discs were each a different color resembling "Fruit Loops" (which I'm sure is not its real name, but the only name I recall). Basically, you give the little discs a start, then by slowly turning the large ring, you keep the little discs spinning. There are a few simple variations, but that\'s basically all it does. My google searches haven't helped, and there are none on ebay. Help, Doc!

Toy race cars
Hello, I'm looking for race cars that I played with as a kid around 20 years ago. They were popular at the time with several designs and manufacturers. The propulsion energy was generated by feeding a notched plastic strip with a handle at the end, into a hole which has a gear to receive the strip. Once the strip was fed into it, you'd pull on the strip and that would spin the car's wheel with impressive power and speed. What were these cars called and in particular, what is the name of this type of the energy producing mechanism? I've searched under "Dyno", "Gyro" and pull crank car but I'm not finding them. My mom says that either dad sent it to her from Germany in 1968, or he won it in a Kentucky carnival in 1974. He also could have won it in an arcade in Korea in the late 60s to early 70s. They are not sure. Anyway, his tag says he is made in Korea and the company name is Kamar. He is jointed at hips, shoulders, and neck so that his joints and head turn. He is approximately 9" tall. His eyes are not buttons. His nose and mouth are sewn on. That is all I know about him. I have pictures I can send. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

Wagon-Aero Flite
Where can I find the history and values of antique Aero Flite Wagons. I have found one that is supposedly a 1936. It does not have any rust and the body is in very good condition. The headlights are missing. It has the original wheels and tires. It has been repainted so the original white accents and wording is not visible. Thanks, Bill

Walking Blocks?
I remeber when I was a kid - late 70's early 80's, there was a toy consisting of 2 upside down cups with plastic strings attached to them, that I would walk around on. Any idea what the name of that toy was? Thank you

wheel-like 3-piece puzzle ride on toy
I am looking for a toy I had when I was a little girl - mid 70's. It was a big circle made of 3 puzzle pieces. Primary colors, maybe. You could put the pieces together to make a circle big enough to sit in an roll around in, or make a see-saw or smallish slide. If anyone has any idea who made this or any information at all it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you

wood spelling wheel
I was born in 1960 and remember playing many hours with a toy in the mid 60's to early 70's I would describe as a wood spelling wheel. The toy was flat and circular in shape made of wood with letters printed on individual wood squares that could be mooved freely by hand around the perimeter of the board. You would move the letters around the perimeter of the circle and then you could slide the wood printed squares onto inner straight tracks in order to spell out words or sentences. The inner part had several of these straight tracks parallel to one another inside the circle. The toy was a very high quality item perhaps made by Constructive Playthings? This is just a guess as we did have a lot of high quality toys when I was growing up. I have not been able to get any info on this item. Your help is greatly appreciated by myself and my two brothers. Thnak you greatly. DKBr rattles. Has a ball on the end of the trunk, and a flower coming out of pocket on the dungarees. It's probably about 60cm high. My mum thinks it's made by Fisher Price but cant find it on any website. Thanks to anyone that might be able to help.
