ACTION FIGURE - GAXON GRAVES: space figure name "gaxon graves" came with Lego type set that you built?? stamped 1985 MB Made In Hong Kong. What was the name of the brand; Reply
Action Figures - 1970's: As a child, I had a set of action figures that I cannot identify. They were made in the late 1970's. The leader of the team looked like GI Joe but was only 6 or 8 inches. He ware a gold hauberk with a light in the center. His colleagues included a clear see-through warrior, who's body lit up (called "Luminous"?), and a blue & silver warrior with a light-up shield(called "The Shield"?. The team's enemy looked like the main character, but was green, and had red eyes. Any ideas?; Reply
action toys: In the mid 1980's there was a cartoon that had toys with action figures that were smaller than GIJoe. They had vehicles like a car that gullwing doors that could fly and would shot missles from the doors. I beleive there was also a semitruck that shot out of the smoke stacks and a motorcycle that had wings that would come out and could fly as well. Air Tube Construction Set?: I'm looking for the name of a construction set I had when I was a child. It consisted of a series of hexagonal tubes (straight, rounded corners, etc.) that you connected to form a track. The top part of these tubes was clear plastic, so you could see inside and there was an air pump and these air cars you could place in the track and they would travel around inside. It had glow-in-the-dark stickers for the track and the cars themselves glowed. I've looked all over and I can't find anything about it anywhere.; Reply

antique tin toy refrigerator: hello, about 10 years ago, the later '90s, i found a tin refrigerator that was in pretty good condition. I didnt know much about it, and i still dont. I have tried to research the toy maker, and im not finding anything. It is stamped on the side, "Trade Mark Modern Toys" and underneath it says japan. I cannot find anything about the company, or the era this toy was made. Would you know anything about this toy maker, and maybe the era they made these types of tin toys in? The best i have came up with is a listing of a toy made by the company on a toy collector website, but it doesnt give me much to go on for my tin toy. Thanks so much; Reply
Baby doll: When I was one year old, (1986-1987) I recieved a doll as a gift. She is about nine inches lon with a cloth stomach and plastic arms,legs, and head. Her hair is molded in but isnt raised. She has bright blue eyes and an open mouth. She came in a white dress with little flowers on the chest of it. She was offered in at least blue and pink. Her neck has PL-V or DL-V and under that A4. balloon making kit: Hamleys on regent st london used to sell these kits end of 70's that had 4-5 toothpaste like tubes of different coloured substance and 4-5 blue plastic straws. You'd put a blob on the end of the straw and blow a balloon. The substance tasted and smelled pretty hideous. The cardboard package I think was yellow. Any Idea what it was called?; Reply

Barbie Id - 1966 Japan: I have a Barbie (or Francie?) with 1966/Mattel, Inc/US Patented/US Pat Pend/Made in Japan on her right butt cheek. From this I have narrowed it down to made between 1966-72. She has long blonde hair with bangs, blue eyes (not eye shadow), painted lashes, peachy closed mouth lip color and looks straight at you. Her waist twists, knees bend & her hair may have been originally up some way. I have yet to see a picture of this one on any of the site I have looked at. battery powered action figure: It was in the late 1960's. I had an action hero that wore a blue suit. It also had a "power pack" on his back that, when pressed, a decal on his chest lit up. All about all else I can remember is that there was a ray gun you could snap onto his hand that would light up as well. He had a silver plastic helmet. Bean Bag Toy - Yellow "Velvet" Mouse: My daughter has lost a much loved toy that she was given approx 7 years ago. It was a floppy yellow bean bag mouse and the only identifying feature that I recall was the label. This had a red crown logo and I THINK the name was "The Toy Company" or similar. Bendy toy: in the mid 60's my cousins from Canada had some hard rubber or plastic bendy toys they called "goofnicks" They were about 6 inches high I thunk, not stuffed and I think one was yellow. They were plain with no clothing and had angular heads. I have been wondering about them ever since (I was promised one when they returned to canada, that was about 40 or so years ago!) Black, brown and white puppy.: I am looking for a lost puppy dog that my son had and do not know what brand it was to find another one. The puppy was givin to him in 2002, it has a white body, black tail and bottom and brown around his eyes and on his ears. board game: Does anyone know the name of a board game my grandmother had. I believe it was made sometime between 1950-1970's. The name was something like Bankers and Bandits or something. I know the word Bandits was in the name. There was different colored paper money and four different colored playing pieces. boardgame: I am looking for the name of a game that I played with in the late 60's that used a board that was the map of the world. You were given cards that had products (like rice, oil ect)that you had to collect by going to different parts of the world. Each player had a colour metal airplane that they used. BOY DOLL TALKING DOZZY DOLL (1989): I'm looking for a talking doll from 1989. i bought it for my son at a local grocery store around christmas in 1989. you put a cassette tape in his back and he talked to you and his eyes lit up and so did hsi mouth...when he was "awake" and he would tell you he was sleepy and the eyes/mouth would stop lighting up. the doll was soft all over (stuffing) w/ light blue pajamas on and had a "huge" head. he had a couple spriggs of hair sticking out from under the night cap. the night cap was light blue as well and was pointed shaped. a white ball at the end, i beleive. and white around the "brim" area. there were 1 or 2 tapes to go with him. i KNOW he talked about camping out on one tape.; Reply
Boys Dolls - Old West Figures: I owned about four figures and two horses from a boys doll line in the late 70's early eighties. They were very detailed and articulated. They stood about 8" high. I remember one was a Mexican type with a poncho and one was a Bald African American with a hat. I forgot the names and name of the toy line and would love to find them again!; Reply

Composite Plush Fleece covered mechanical pull toy Scottie Dog: I found this dog in a junk antique store in Baltimore Maryland. He has a red tube led with a metal sqeeze type mechanical control. When you squeeze it he sits and opens his mouth and squeaks/barks, he even has two rows of very small teeth. His eyes are maybe glass. There are small metal wheels hidden on the bottom of his feet. construction set: During my childhood late 60's early 70's I had a building construction set that was made up of plastic parts resembling steel beams. The parts were attached to each other with small plastic screws that were inserted with a drill like tool that had a trigger that twisted the screws in place. Deffective item: I bought a Hula Girl outfit in Maui and when I got home and pulled it out of the bag quite a few of the green strings fell out - it looks like they were cut?? doll: i found a doll in the attic of my husband's grandmother's house. i believe it is a boy doll because his clothes had blue in them but it may not be the original clothing, his body almost feels like card board with a round circle cut into his belly, under his clothes, he has cloth arms and legs, and a plastic painted head, paited on hair but there is a texture to it. blue eyes and very red lips. it suposed to be a baby i believe because he wiggles like a baby. there is a key that comes with him that you insert in his back and wind him up and when you remove the key is arms and legs are pulled by strings that you cannot see when his clothes are on. he also has a spring in the back of his neck that moves his head around. on the back of his neck it says germany, and then 2 of 26. i would really love to know what kind of doll this is.; Reply

doll - cloth - 1970's: My monther in law gave my daughter a doll when she was around 3/5 years old. She was born in 1973 so it would probably been made in the 70's. The body was made out of lates foam, and the whole body was covered in a pink satin stretch leotard kind of outfit which was permanent. She had no feet but her hads were made out of a materiel similar to felt but a pink flesh color with no fingers more like mittens. Her head was also solt with painted on features and yellow bangs coming out of the pink leotard type hood. In other words it was all a one piece doll that had wire in the legs and arms so you could pose them. At least that's what it felt like. She called the doll "Pink Baby" because of all the pink on the body. I don't know who made it but I think it was a well know company like mattel. I have been searching on the internet with no luck. Doll in Yellow Snow Suit: I am trying to hunt this doll down. I had it when I was a kid and it was made in the mid 70's. After a while they stopped making it. It was yellow soft bodied, with a vinyl face and hands. She had a pink pom pom on the side of her head and a little hole in her mouth you could put her thumb into. Eugene doll 1977: I recently found that I still have dolls from my childhood that are still in the boxes. They are from the Eugene Doll and Novelty company and the date is 1977. I can't find any other dolls that look like these on ebay or yahoo searches. I don't think that they were expensive when my mom purchased them because we didn't have a lot of money when I was a kid. I do remember that she wouldn't let me take them out fo the boxes, and made me put them on shelves. The dolls have the style number 71571 and manufacturers number 71520 My mom has passed 2 years ago and I just found these dolls in an old box. everlasting bubbles: in the mid to late 60's you could buy a tube of some goopy smelly stuff to make balloons... You put a gob on the end of a straw that came with the kit and you could blow these really cool bubbles that lasted for a day or so. Frankenstein - Playskool, 1992: My son found a hard plastic Frankenstein doll/figure at a flea market. It stands just over 15 inches tall and is marked "Playskool 1992" on one of the feet. The chest area opens up to reveal some gears, a gage, and a heart with a spout like an oil can that can be removed (attached to the toy with a string) and replaced. "Frankie" has a few buttons that can be pushed and says 4 or 5 different phrases. His head opens, but the brain that was probably inside has been lost. Fred Flintstone Clock: I have a Fred Flintstone wind up clock. The time piece is in his mid section and the entire figure is about 8" tall. The time piece is a german piece I believe. The clock still works however, we had to glue the porcelain figure back together. I am wondering about any value as far as insurance goes. Funny car model: I am trying to get the name of the following funny car model kit. Around the years 1969-1972 I had a funny car model kit that was large scale (perhaps 1/12 or 1/16) and had a foot pedal that lifted the body via and electric motor showing the engine and frame. The gearing to lift the body could be seen through the cars rear window. All the gearing and the electric motor were part of the kit. The kit was plastic and the body was orange. The overall length of the body was approximately 14-16 inches. The pedal was shaped like a the bottom of your foot with toes and was approx. 4 inches. The motor ran on 2 D size batteries. High School dolls-Barbie doll sized but not Barbie: I am looking for the rest of these High School dolls that I believe came out in the late 70's or early 80's. I don't think they were related to any show or movie at the time. One of the doll's names was "Star" and she had friends of which the only one i can remember is "Kelly". Lansing Slik Toy Tractor Set: I bought a tractor and combine set from an antique store. I'm trying to find out if it's original and what it's worth. I believe it to be made by Lansing Slik toys. The tractor is about 5" long, green, with die cast man. It is cast with "MM" which I assume stands for Minneapolis Moline. The casting says Made in USA and 9816 on the inside. Combine is diecast with steel blades, also marked Made in USA and 9823. I have seen the tractor as a recent reproduction by a company called Grandpa's farm toys, but I don't know how to determine if my set is original or reproduction. Can you help? Thank you. John; Reply

Leap Frog game from 1970's - 1980's: I am looking for the leap frog game from the late 70's, early 80's. The object of the game was to catch the frogs that pop out of the spring loaded slots on the game with a little net. The game spun around, by winding it up, and the frogs would pop out at various intervals. Do you know which game I am referring to? Magic Key Town (Magnetic): In the late 80's early 90's there was a town with tiny people that had magnets on the bottom of them. There were streets that snapped together like puzzle pieces and there were houses, shops, and buisnesses including a ballet studio. The people moved down the sidewalk by slipping the "magic key" underneath which had an opposing magnet on it. There was also a gazebo that had magnets inside and when turned on it played music and the people danced about via the magnetic field. What was this toy series called? I use to have them a long time ago and really would love to have them all again. I can't seem to find any information about them anywhere.; Reply
Magnet family: whne I was little sometime during the late 1970's my mother bought me a toy called The Mcmagnet family (my spelling may be a little off) it was a family of four that lived on a train and the had magnets that enabled them to hold hands. magnetic puzzle - Donald Duck: I am looking for a magnetic puzzle that I played with at my Grandfather's house in the mid - '70s, although it was probably an old toy by then. I have seen somewhat similar puzzles manufactured by Child Guidance. I remember it to be a white plastic tray with puzzle pieces that had little magnets on the back. It probably had ten or so pieces. merry go round: In the 1960s, there was a large playground push-pull/pump merry go round at a park in Batavia or Aurora, IL. Mickey Mouse Wooden Rocking Horse: I was given a used wooden Mickey Mouse Rocking Horse a couple of years ago for my son. I loved the old antique look to it, but have no clue when it was made. I do know it was made by the American Toy and Furniture co. since its labeled on the bottom. Mickey is painted and it looks like you are riding on his back. Its measures 22-1/2"high from ground to seat. The seat is 8"long and 6" at the widest part. Just wanted to know if you know anything about the rocker and if its an antique.; Reply
micro/mini plastic horses: In the mid to late 90s I had purchased some very tiny plastic horses from Kaybee Toys. They were the same size and similar molds to the current Breyer mini whinnies (although I can find no indication that these were produced by Breyer back then). They didn't come in the soft plastic bag/container that the current Breyer mini whinnie come in, but they came in a plastic and cardboard box that had all the horses lined up and facing forward. Music box movable pegs 1963-70: I once had a music box that was like the old brass disc music boxes, but was made of plastic, the disc was aprox 12" diameter perforated like pegboard. There were red soldier pegs that could be placed in chords or single notes and caused the music box underneath to play the tune you created. It was German I think but purchased in USA. Can you find its name, or anything like it today? I would really like to find one.; Reply

Mysterious antique figurine, 1800s baker?: I have had my eye on a figurine in an antiques store and finally purchased it but cannot find information on it. It's a man who appears to be kneading bread or holding a piece of wood on a table (it is a flat brown object), 75 of the paint is chipped off and it looks to be late 1800s, maybe early 1900s. The only information on it is underneath the base, what looks to say "Sal Palucca" (There is an S with "al" on the top of the curve, "pa" underneath the curve" and "lucca" under the S). There are numbers next to it, "112/c10." This appears handmade, not very smooth, and the medium is either clay or plaster. It has the cracked appearance of gum that has been left out and is very light. Where can I begin looking for this? I couldn't find anything on the internet.; Reply

NEW DOLL WITH AUTOMATED EYES - NOT JUST UP AND DOWN BUT OPEN INTO A LARGER CIRCLE: I have seen a doll that has eyes that creeped me out at first, but then I was intrigued. A very realistic doll that was puportedly purchased not long ago (in 2007) at Wal-Mart for maybe $20-$25, this little boy's eyes open and close but not up and down when you lay him on his back but they open outward as if in surprise. The doll also makes ravenous noises when it drinks from its bottle or sucks its pacifier. Can anyone tell me what doll this is?; Reply

OLD TIN TOY CAR: I found this car at a yard sale. The only markings on it are the license plate which says S-1925 and on the bottom it says MADE IN JAPAN. The vehicle is all tin with rubber tires. outdoor ride: I am trying to find out more about this toy that my dad bought my sister and I in the late 60's to very early 70's (not sure exactly when) I sat 4 I think it was an outdoor toy you would sit on it and your feet would push a bar and your hands would pull and push a bar while the entire thing would go around. we still have pictures of us on it. It looked very dangerous but no one ever got hurt on it do you have any idea what this thing was or who made it? OUTDOOR TOY - 4PCS AND ROUND: I had this toy in the mid 70's. It is an outdoor toy made of hard plastic such as little tikes items. It has 4 pieces that fit together like a puzzle to form a circle. The pieces I beleive were red, blue, yellow and green. The center was big enough we could get inside and be rolled around the yard. Outdoor water toy: During my childhood, in the early to mid 80's, I had a hard plastic clown water toy. You screwed the end of your garden hose into the thing, and it would spray water, eventually building up pressure and shooting his hard plastic hat into the air. Paddle Ball: There was a game in the early 70's. I am not sure the name as I can not find it anywhere. It was a paddle ball game. The court was a one piece board that stood vertically. The ball was attached to a long rod on a pivot at the top. You hit down on the ball, it bounced up and over to the opposite side player to hit back. It was GREAT. PINK STUFFED BUNNY- I LOVE MOMMY- PLASTIC HANDS: WE got a gift on a pink stuffed bunny that is maybe 8 inches long. The hands and feet are also pink but are a rubbery plastic. The face is painted on a white head. THe ears are floppy and satiny. On the chest it says, "I Love Mommy" or "I Love My Mommy" I can't remember which. plastic model kit: During the late 70's I had a kit where you would make model airplanes and cars. You would have to glue the pieces with a glue gun and melt these plastic type gurders to construct the frame of the particular vehicle. What is the name of these toys? Playset: This item was seen during the early 80s and I need help in identifying it. Itlooked like a built up water mill (made of plastic). The mill was located on elevated land (like a hill)and a conveyor belt ran through the mill, from a pond on the lower ground below the mill, up through the mill, around a turbine, and back down into the pond (I think). As a kid, I got the impression that the belt would collect little silver fish from the pond, transport them through the water mill (?) and back down into the pond. It was quite bizarre. Someone once told me it was called Mr Fishy Wishy's Marvellous Contraption, but I cannot find anything on it. Help!; Reply

Plush Baby Girl Bunny with Slippers: Where can I find another? It is manufactured by Prestige Toys and the style # is 7423. There is a rattle inside the plush bunny's belly. It is mostly pink with cream head/ears, hands, and "bunny head" slippers. It has a ribbon bow on the neck and has a sewn on tag on the right side of the chest that says "baby girl."
